TL;DR
Bitfinex has eliminated the need for a separate Securities sub-account — customers can now view their securities in their master account.
Existing Securities sub-accounts will be converted into regular trading sub-accounts, preserving all current balances, credentials, 2FA settings, and withdrawal permissions.
Master account holders can now view their full portfolio — from crypto to tokenised bonds — through a single Bitfinex account.
San Salvador, El Salvador, 26 February, 2026 — Bitfinex Securities, a leading tokenised securities trading platform, today announced a significant update to its account architecture, streamlining the way customers can view their security tokens. The platform will no longer require customers to maintain a dedicated securities sub-account.
