TREAD trading is live as of September 16, 2026.
To add an asset to your Kraken account, navigate to Funding, select the asset you’re after, and hit ‘Deposit’.
Make sure to deposit your tokens into networks supported by Kraken. Deposits made using other networks will be lost.

tread.fi (TREAD)
TREAD is the token used within tread.fi, an algorithmic trading terminal and agentic trading ecosystem for digital asset markets, connecting the traders, builders, and exchanges that use the platform. Traders link their own exchange accounts or a Web3 wallet and route activity through a single interface, with execution algorithms including TWAP, scaled orders, and smart order routing, alongside autonomous agents that operate across connected venues.
TREAD is a consumptive utility token: holders lock it to access fee discounts, agent marketplace listings, and hiring slots, with no yield, interest, or reward paid on any lock. The Tread Foundation is an independent entity that stewards the token and its ecosystem. TREAD has a fixed supply of 100,000,000 minted on Ethereum. The supply is permanently capped, with no mint function and no inflation. More than half of the supply is reserved for the community and the broader tread.fi ecosystem.

- Trading via Kraken App and Instant Buy will be available once the liquidity conditions are met (when a sufficient number of buyers and sellers have entered the market for their orders to be efficiently matched).
- Geographic restrictions may apply
Will Kraken make more assets available?
Yes! But our policy is to never reveal any details until shortly before launch – including which assets we are considering. All of Kraken’s available tokens can be found here, and all future tokens will be announced on our Listings Roadmap and social media profiles. Our client engagement specialists cannot answer any questions about which assets we may be making available in the future.
