This Volatility Bull Strategy is a banger! In strong bull runs, it performs nearly as well as HODL. But it times your entries + exits, while limiting downside risk, booking gains. So it's as good as HODL, but with risk management.

The Volatility Momentum Maximizer (Variant 2) works well with ALL coins, of varying ATRs, but it works best with more stable coins, such as Bitcoin. Variant 1 of this strategy is aimed at more volatile Alt Coins.

It’s exclusive to Cryptohopper. It is a Hero Only strategy.

It uses a combination of 3 Volatility and Momentum-based technical indicators that I've fine-tuned. All 3 conditions need to be met in order to trigger a Buy.

Entries get timed on dips before big momentum breakout moves, when there's a strong Bull setup. With your sell settings, you then follow bull trends to exit, maximizing profitability, when combined with prudent risk management, see Sell Settings below.

When volatility is breaking out favourably, this strategy ensures you enter at attractive levels. But if volatility is breaking out to the downside, this will enter trades too...

Thus, you should deploy the strategy ONLY when You have a high degree of confidence that the asset is either in a strong bull momentum setup, or about to enter one. You, yourself, need to determine the strength of the setup via EMAs, Bollingers, Keltner (Squeeze), MFI, OBV, etc.

Everyone has their own preferences to determine the strength of a bull trend - so I leave this up to you. So, this won't allow you to go full auto-pilot, sorry. You need to monitor market trends of your assets to determine moves over days/weeks. In life, the best ways are never the easiest. No trading bot strategy should be used on 100% autopilot anyway.

If you don't want to be responsible for determining strong Bull Runs yourself, this strategy is NOT for you.

It's been averaging 1.5%-7% profits on exits on my live account.

Expected trade hold time: 12h - 3 days, sometimes even 7 days. Give the bull setup time to play out. But if momentum reverses against you, manually exit positions, ie on bigger pull backs, but fade the small dips. Don't get stuck holding bags for days after momentum reversed against you!

Expected # of exits (completed trades): 200-220 / month / coin (if Bull Run)

To be used with 5-10 different Coins with around 6 positions each, low cool down for buying, as when it triggers, you're likely to buy 3-6 times within 1h.

Moderate bull runs:
Take Profit: 50.00% (ie. we override)
Stop Loss: OFF (only trailing stop loss, sell manually if reversal to Bear)
Trailing Stop % : 0.50% (use "Trailing in Profit Only")
Trailing Stop Arm: 1.80%

Strong bull runs:
Take Profit: 50.00% (ie. we override)
Stop Loss: OFF (only trailing stop loss, sell manually if reversal to Bear)
Trailing Stop % : 1.00% (use "Trailing in Profit Only")
Trailing Stop Arm: 5.00%
