How does backtesting work?
Open the Backtest Lab next to the chart, pick one of seven strategy templates and tune its inputs, fee and slippage. It runs on up to 10,000 candles of the pair and interval on your chart and shows the trades on the chart, an equity curve, return against buy & hold, max drawdown, win rate and an out-of-sample check. You can also ask the AI analyst to write a strategy and backtest it. Results are a simulation on historical data, not a promise of future returns.
What can the AI chart analyst do?
