Same position, half the margin: leverage goes up to 10x on Kraken Prop
TL;DR
- Up to 10x leverage: Bitcoin, Nasdaq 100, and the S&P 500 all move to 10x, plus increases across many more markets.
- Half the margin, same position: a $1M Bitcoin position that used to need $200K in account margin now needs $100K.
- S&P 500 buying power doubles: its notional cap moves up alongside the leverage, from $1M to $2M, so buying power doubles at every account size.
- Nothing else changes: existing positions, open evals, profit splits, and payout terms are unaffected.
