Coinbase Fellows are highly accomplished and recognized technical leaders who are among the best in the world in their respective domains. The role functions at the same level as a Vice President, and is expected to drive technical strategy and be a key technical contributor in crucial areas for the company.
Bharat brings decades of experience as a senior technical leader to Coinbase. He served as a Distinguished Engineer for 10+ years at Google and led the team responsible for Google’s homepage and search results page — making Search fast and reliable in all languages and all domains at humanity scale.
He co-founded and served as president at AltSchool, an education tech company. And, most recently, he served as CTO and SVP, Platform at Dropbox. A long time crypto enthusiast, his deep expertise in next generation infrastructure will be invaluable as we continue to scale the cryptoeconomy.
