Huobi P2P
The other method is via P2P, which stands for Peer-to-Peer. This enables you to purchase crypto tokens from other users on Houbi Global. You will pay no fees for a P2P transaction, and you can choose the advertiser according to your own criteria.
To access the P2P page, you will have to log in to Huobi, click on “Buy Crypto” and select “P2P Market”
On the P2P page, you will be able to “Buy” or “Sell” Cryptocurrencies with Fiat via Bank Transfers.
Before you purchase or sell your crypto, you will need to set up a Payment Method as well as complete KYC.
Once those are set up, you will be able to start purchasing tokens using fiat currencies.
You can select sellers from the list of advertisements based on their completion rate, amount of tokens they have available, minimum and maximum they can sell, selling price and payment method.
Once you have selected a seller, their details will be displayed on the screen.
Key in the amount that you are looking to purchase and hit enter. This creates an order for the tokens and the tokens are temporarily frozen on the seller’s Huobi account while you complete the transaction.
You will be brought to a screen where you will see the bank transfer details. Once you have transferred the money over, click on “Transferred, Next”.
Once the seller confirms that the transfer has been done, Huobi will unfreeze the tokens and transfer them to you. You will receive your Crypto in your Huobi Wallet under the “Fiat” tab. The platform will automatically scan every transaction and detect suspicious transactions.
On top of that, sellers are required to complete KYC before being able to buy or sell cryptocurrencies on the platform. Certified Advertiser Verification and Facial Recognition are implemented to make your transactions even more secure. Certified Advertisers have to place a good faith deposit with Huobi in return for Certified Advertiser status, which means that they have put up a form of guarantee for their reliability.
