If you still hold an Aion (AION) balance after the market closes, Bitvavo will facilitate a conversion:
Your balance will be sold on an external market for an average market price in the days after trading will be stopped.
On February 27, 2023, at 12:00 CET, we will credit the result of this conversion to your Bitvavo Account.
Please note:
All open orders will be cancelled once trading is stopped.
Why is Bitvavo delisting AION?
When we delist digital assets, certain aspects are taken into account. For example the underlying value of the digital asset, interest within our customer base, and market liquidity. Bitvavo concluded that this is no longer the case for Aion (AION).

Mocht u nog een Aion (AION) saldo hebben nadat de handel is stopgezet, dan faciliteert Bitvavo een conversie voor u. Wat betekent dit?
Uw saldo wordt verkocht op een externe markt voor een gemiddelde marktprijs, in de dagen nadat de handel is gestopt.
Op 27 februari 2023, om 12:00 CET zullen we het resultaat van deze conversie bijschrijven op uw Bitvavo account.
Enkele details:
Alle openstaande orders worden geannuleerd zodra de handel is gestopt.
Waarom stopt Bitvavo de handel van AION?
Wanneer we de handel met een digitale valuta stopzetten op ons platform, wordt rekening gehouden met een bepaalde zaken. Zoals bijvoorbeeld de onderliggende waarde van de digitale valuta, de interesse binnen ons klantenbestand en de liquiditeit van de markt. Bitvavo heeft geconcludeerd dat dit voor Aion (AION) momenteel onvoldoende is.
