Simplicity is a formally verifiable smart contract language designed to bring more versatile programmability to Bitcoin, recently deployed on Blockstream’s Liquid Network. Unlike Ethereum’s EVM, Simplicity avoids global state and Turing completeness, focusing instead on predictable, auditable contracts.
