Beat the market trading DOT!

This is the strategy that we showcased in our Newsletter on 2023-03-24

We backtested multiple parameters in order to find the best ones for DOT. As usual, with our backtests, we assumed a 0.1% fee per trade, all trades were taken with the entire account, and there was no slippage. The backtesting period was from 2020-08-20 to 2023-03-23.

With these parameters and settings, we achieved a profit of 1,106.5%, which was significantly better than the buy-and-hold strategy's 1,106.5%. The maximum drawdown was only 27%, which is less than 92% of the buy and hold.

Please note that we have optimized this strategy for DOT; we do not know how well it would perform on other coins.
