So what happened this week?
The crypto market was volatile last week because of the FTX meltdown. SOL, the native token of the Solana’s blockchain which has close ties with FTX, is down 50% over the week. SOL is now trading at $13.10. Meanwhile, Bitcoin (BTC) fell 225 in the seven-day stretch through Sunday, according to CoinDesk. BTC is now trading at 16,139 while Ether (ETH) is now at 1,193. As for the 24H gainers on Poloniex are MVL/USDT, GMX/USDT, BTT/TRX, ETH/TRX, NFT/TRX and XRP/TRX.
Counting down to Qatar 2022 with Poloniex
As the World Cup 2022 is around the corner, Poloniex has launched a virtual carnival, named “Poloniex FIFA World Cup Carnival”, which allows users to trade fan tokens to split a prize pool of $100,000 from now onwards until December 19 so that we can all celebrate this international sporting event with people around the world.
