Giulia Mazzolini recently took on the Country Manager role for France, and Alejandro Zala Navarro is spearheading the expansion to the Spanish market as Country Manager there. In their positions, they will be responsible for consolidating the initial success of Bitpanda’s launch in France and Spain, as well as developing Bitpanda’s presence in the markets.

Bitpanda launched in France in May with a campaign which led to many new registrations, further developing our growing user base. We at Bitpanda are looking forward to Giulia bringing her vast knowledge and experience in the field to help us continue our growth in France.

Giulia is no stranger to fintech as prior to starting at Bitpanda, she spearheaded a program at The Family, helping fintechs and other startups stand out in a hyper-competitive environment and realising growth targets through fundraising in London and Paris.
Alejandro Zala Navarro on the Spain Expansion
As of Bitpanda’s launch in Spain in June, Spaniards are now able to set up a Bitpanda account within minutes, completely in Spanish via desktop and the Bitpanda iOS and Android app. The Spanish market is one of the most attractive and important for Bitpanda.
Alejandro has extensive experience in the financial sector in different countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Brazil and Spain. The executive joins Bitpanda from OpenBank, where he has been part of the product development team.
