Klanten van LiteBit wordt de mogelijkheid geboden om hun digitale assets eenvoudig over te zetten naar Bitvavo. De overgang van Litebit klanten naar Bitvavo is reeds voorgelegd aan de relevante toezichthouders en zal in de aankomende tijd nog beoordeeld worden door de ACM. Hierna zullen klanten actief worden geïnformeerd en volledig worden ondersteund tijdens het (mogelijke) proces van overstappen.

Overstappen naar Bitvavo is eenvoudig
Na goedkeuring van de ACM zullen Litebit klanten informatie ontvangen over hoe zij hun digitale assets en tegoeden eenvoudig kunnen overzetten naar Bitvavo. De processen hiervoor zijn in samenwerking met Litebit reeds voorbereid en ingericht om LiteBit klanten eenvoudig te kunnen laten overstappen in afwachting van ACM goedkeuring.
Geen overname
Voor de goede orde; het betreft geen overname van LiteBit. Klanten van LiteBit krijgen na goedkeuring van de ACM de optie om hun digitale assets en tegoeden op een eenvoudige manier over te zetten naar Bitvavo, zodat zij hun digitale assets niet hoeven te verkopen.
Uiteraard hoopt Bitvavo zoveel mogelijk nieuwe gebruikers te verwelkomen. Dit in aanvulling op de al meer dan 1 miljoen gebruikers en continue instroom van nieuwe klanten op ons beursplatform.

Bitvavo welcomes new clients from crypto broker LiteBit*

The Dutch crypto broker LiteBit announced in a press release today that it intends to terminate its activities as a result of various market developments, increased competition and mounting regulatory pressure.
LiteBit customers will be offered the option to easily transfer their digital assets to Bitvavo. The potential transfer from Litebit customers to Bitvavo has already been submitted to the relevant authorities and will be assessed by the ACM in the near future. After this, customers will be actively informed and fully supported during the (possible) transfer process.

Switching to Bitvavo is easy
After approval by the ACM, Litebit customers will receive information on how they can easily transfer their digital assets and credits to Bitvavo. The processes for this have already been prepared and set up in collaboration with Litebit to allow LiteBit customers to easily switch pending ACM approval.
No takeover
To clarify; this is not an acquisition of LiteBit. After approval by the ACM, LiteBit customers will have the option to easily transfer their digital assets and credits to Bitvavo, so that they do not have to sell their digital assets.
Ofcourse, Bitvavo hopes to welcome as many new Litebit customers as possible. This in addition to the already more than 1 million users and continuous new influx of customers on our crypto exchange.
