After celebrating the second birthday of Bitpanda Pro, our Top Trader competition brings our trading competitions on Pro to 12. This time, we are looking for the trader with the highest return on investment (ROI) across any of the pairs available on Bitpanda Pro.
How does it work?
1. Like in our previous trading competitions, you register for the Top Trader trading competition here.
2. A snapshot of your account balance will be taken right at the beginning of the trading competition. The amount visible in this snapshot is referred to as your Initial Equity. Should you only register after the start of the competition, the snapshot will be taken at the time you register.
3. The inflow of your funds to Bitpanda Pro during the trading competition, either from external accounts or from Bitpanda) is referred to as your Deposit.
4. A snapshot of all your account balances will be taken every 15 minutes during the trading competition. The last snapshot will be taken at the end of the competition, this will be your Final Equity.
5. Your return on investment (ROI) is calculated in the following way, based on your aggregated investment in all your trades during the 14 days of the competition across all of the trading pairs available on Bitpanda Pro:
ROI = [Final Equity - (Initial Equity + Deposit)] / (Initial Equity + Deposit)
What else to know
Your return on investment (ROI) is measured in percent (%). Only a positive ROI will be rewarded, meaning that participants with a 0% or negative ROI at the end of the competition will not be eligible for the giveaway. You can win up to EUR 12,000 paid out in BTC and trade all pairs offered across our Bitpanda Pro markets, including our newest addition UNI/EUR.

Please also make your first deposit and don’t forget to complete at least one trade right away before you register for the competition.
Generate the best return on investment (ROI) across all trading pairs
The traders in this competition who generate the best return on investment (ROI) across all trading pairs offered on Bitpanda Pro over the course of the two weeks of the Top Trader trading competition will be eligible to win great prizes of up to EUR 12,000 paid out in BTC.

All trades across all markets on Bitpanda Pro will be taken into account.
Your ROI (return on investment) will be calculated based on your aggregated investment in all your trades during the 14 days of the competition across any of the pairs available on Pro, measured in percent (%). Only positive ROIs will be rewarded. The user with the best ROI (return on investment) across all trading pairs traded over two weeks of the competition will be the winner.
How to find out if you are among the winners
As always, we are going to notify all our winners who generated the best return on investment (ROI) via email and announce all the winners on a public scoreboard after the Top Trader trading competition has ended.
Please note that continuous trading between two or more accounts belonging (directly or indirectly) to the same person or same legal entity (wash trading) is not allowed. Please note that institutional traders are excluded from participating in the trading competition. We reserve the right to disqualify users who don’t abide by the rules.
