Fostering the development of Web3
Since its establishment in 2014, Poloniex has been partnering with different players in the industry to further develop a stronger and more sustainable ecosystem for Web3, which is considered to be the next evolution of the World Wide Web.
In 2022, Poloniex and Huobi have worked closely together on multiple fronts including ecosystem expansion, project cooperation, liquidity support, and global compliance with the common goal of connecting people to the power of crypto.
Poloniex has also formed a close alliance with the Fantom Foundation, the entity developing the technological capabilities of the Fantom platform, a highly scalable blockchain platform for DeFi, crypto dApps, and enterprise applications, in order to help facilitate the general advancement of its ecosystem.
Earlier this year, Poloniex partnered with Polygon, the leading platform for Ethereum scaling and infrastructure development, to help foster Web3 adoption. In addition, we’ve partnered with APENFT, the NFT marketplace, to allow users to access and trade NFTs through a one-stop platform integrated with our exchange.
Knowledge is power
Starting from scratch is never easy. Poloniex understands very well the power of knowledge since the crypto space is still maturing.
Since the emergence of blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies, there’s been an explosion of new terms like “ The Merge”, “ The Shanghai upgrade”, the “ Metaverse” and beyond, in addition to the plethora of emerging projects, including XEN (XEN), 0x (ZRX), and The Open Network (TON), and of course the the largest and most famous tokens like Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH) and TRON (TRX).
With all the activity and new terms and concepts springing up, we need to always keep track and make sense of market trends. This is the reason for the birth of Polopedia, our knowledge-base from which you can find the answers to all your crypto-questions in one go.

Globalization is the key
Web3 can’t happen without global adoption, so Poloniex has expanded its footprint to the Asia-Pacific (APAC) and Latin America (LATAM) in 2022 .
During the World Cup, Poloniex arranged offline events in Brazil, Malaysia, India and Vietnam to watch the international sporting events with our supporters and educate them on the ideas of fan tokens, which allow fans to influence and engage with their favorite teams..
Poloniex also held its first Global Tour, traveling to several cities including Kuala Lumpur, Ho Chi Minh City and Bengaluru to bring hundreds of crypto enthusiasts together and discuss cryptocurrency market dynamics and the latest new at Poloniex as well as exchange ideas with like-minded people.
Putting our best foot forward
