# Block or unblock DCA for a coin

`POST https://api.cryptohopper.com/v1/hopper/{id}/position/dca/block`

Blocks or unblocks DCA orders for one coin of the hopper. Send block 1 to block, 0 or leave it out to unblock.

coin is required. When unblocking, data is "DCA block released for BTC.". Not available for exchange arbitrage, market maker, copy and grid bots.

Status codes: 200. Errors return JSON with `status`, `error` and `message`, plus a numeric `code` when the error comes from the API itself rather than the gateway.
