# Get position

`GET https://api.cryptohopper.com/v1/hopper/{id}/position/{position_id}`

Returns one open position with its effective take profit, stop-loss, trailing stop-loss, auto close and DCA details, including the current DCA profit or loss and DCA target rate based on a live ticker.

OAuth scope: `read`

Not available for exchange arbitrage, market maker, copy and grid bots. Scalar values are returned as strings, except dca_position_lock and dca_coin_lock which are booleans. config is the position's own settings as a JSON string or null. ta_values holds the strategy indicator values of the buy, if any. stop_loss_percentage is left out when stop-loss is off, and trailing_arm_percentage when trailing stop-loss is off.

Status codes: 200. Errors return JSON with `status`, `error` and `message`, plus a numeric `code` when the error comes from the API itself rather than the gateway.
