# Get bot types

`GET https://api.cryptohopper.com/v1/platform/bottypes`

Part of [Platform](https://www.cryptohopper.com/api-documentation/api-reference/platform.md) in the Cryptohopper API reference.

Returns the bot type IDs mapped to their names. The bot_type field of a hopper uses these IDs.

No access token needed.

Status codes: 200. Errors return JSON with `status`, `error` and `message`, plus a numeric `code` when the error comes from the API itself rather than the gateway.
