# Stop a copy bot

`GET https://api.cryptohopper.com/v1/hopper/{id}/stop`

Stops the copy trading subscription of a copy bot and converts it into a normal trading bot.

OAuth scope: `trade`, `manage`

Only for copy bots (bot type 7).

Status codes: 200. Errors return JSON with `status`, `error` and `message`, plus a numeric `code` when the error comes from the API itself rather than the gateway.
