# Get market data for a currency

`GET https://api.cryptohopper.com/v1/exchange/currencies/{currency}`

Returns market data for one currency: price, 24h high, low and change, market cap, supply, all-time high and a weekly price series. Also returns the total market cap and 24h volume of all tracked currencies.

OAuth scope: `read`

price_per_exchange is always an empty list. ath_date is a Unix timestamp.

Status codes: 200. Errors return JSON with `status`, `error` and `message`, plus a numeric `code` when the error comes from the API itself rather than the gateway.
