# Get an AI

`GET https://api.cryptohopper.com/v1/ai/{ai_id}`

Part of [AI](https://www.cryptohopper.com/api-documentation/api-reference/ai.md) in the Cryptohopper API reference.

Intended to return one of your AIs. With the current routing this path is served by the list handler, so it returns all your AIs in the same format as List your AIs.

The gateway forwards this path to the list action with ai_id as a query value; the list action does not read ai_id. The handler checks no OAuth scope.

## Headers

| Name | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| `access-token` | string | yes | The OAuth access token of the user. |

## Path parameters

| Name | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| `ai_id` | string | yes | Numeric ID of the AI. Currently ignored, see notes. |

## Example request

```bash
curl "https://api.cryptohopper.com/v1/ai/AI_ID" \
  -H "access-token: YOUR_ACCESS_TOKEN"
```

## Response

Example response (illustrative values):

```json
{
    "data": [
        {
            "id": "87001",
            "name": "My BTC AI",
            "description": "Trend and signal strategies for BTC markets",
            "logo": "https://cdn.example.com/images/ai/ai_87001.png",
            "created_date": "2026-05-01 10:00:00"
        }
    ]
}
```

Status codes: 200. Errors return JSON with `status`, `error` and `message`, plus a numeric `code` when the error comes from the API itself rather than the gateway.
